Zodiac Aerospace Jet

INQUIRE

This Zodiac Aerospace Jet is a delightfully unconventional tool watch, featuring a true 24-hour display that more closely resembles a cockpit instrument rather than a dressy timepiece.. This example stands out with a rare black dial, giving the Aerospace Jet a sharper, more purposeful look—high contrast, bold, and elegantly sporty. A collector’s pick for anyone who likes their watches a little strange in the best way.

Founded in 1882 in Le Locle, Switzerland by Ariste Calame, Zodiac built its name on practical Swiss watchmaking with a taste for experimentation—prioritizing innovative designs paired with durability and function. This mindset gave the brand an early “engineered tool” reputation, long before tool watches became a marketing category.

By the mid-century, Zodiac’s identity crystallized in the Sea Wolf, unveiled at Baselworld in 1953 alongside pioneers like the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms—and notably ahead of the Rolex Submariner. That same period later produced Zodiac’s wonderfully oddball aviation offshoots (Aerospace GMT and the 24-hour Aerospace Jet), and later the Super Sea Wolf—a tougher iteration that became closely associated with military divers, even leading to adoption by the US Navy Seals.
