Watch was serviced by New York Jeweler’s in 2025 and is fully functional. Movement is keeping time approximately +/- 1.5 minute per day. Moderate wear on case including missing gold plating on edge facets (see photos). Dial is all original with black wear mark across 11, 12, and 1 and patina throughout. Acrylic crystal has minor to moderate scratching present. Brown leather strap is in fair worn condition with leather imperfections and minor loose stitching present

Founded in 1894 by German-born watchmaker Dietrich Gruen, the Gruen Watch Company rose to become one of the most prominent watch manufacturers in the early 20th century. In 1925, the brand introduced the rectangular Quadron, moving away from traditional round pocket-watch forms. A decade later, Gruen unveiled the Curvex, a curved movement shaped to fit the wrist.
